I would love to hear the title and author of a children's book that made a profound impact on you and why. The Arabian Nights (One Thousand and One Nights) impacted me because I identified with Scheherazade, the king's wife. As a teacher I needed to keep my students interested in the subject matter. My dad was a great Irish storyteller, and kept his kids bedazzled with his sparkling lyrical yarns. No instructor hears sweeter words from a student than "I hated English until this class." What is your story?
